”Creative companies & developing city districts” at Creative Metropoles Seminar 9th March 2011

The next Creative Metropoles project’s event will be held in Helsinki on the 8th-10th of March 2011. The programme will consist of a seminar, an evening session and study visits. The event is for invited guests.
Wednesday March 9th, 12:00-21:30 – Main Seminar Day
The theme of the main seminar is “Evidence Based Urban Policy & Creative Districts”. It will zoom in on different methods of gathering information on urban phenomena and the ways this information can be translated into city strategies and action plans supporting creative industries.
The evening session is organized together with the CTUR project concentrating on regeneration of building heritage of urban areas, especially harbours.
